The Sonor Orff Palisono Sub Contra Bass Single Chime Bar D is ideal for music educators and group ensemble players who need durability and tuning stability in all climates. Built using Palisono fibreglass the sound bar resists humidity and temperature shifts so it stays in tune indoors or out. This makes it especially useful for schools or mobile performances where conditions vary. The chime bar is tuned to the note D using overtone tuning which delivers a fuller more resonant sound. An adjustable sound hole lets you easily control sustain and volume so it suits a range of musical settings. The resonator box made from pine adds warmth to the tone without adding weight.
