Synergy Peavey 6505 2-Channel Preamp Module

Available from Gear4Music at 398,05 €.

The Synergy Peavey 6505 module delivers the unmistakable aggression clarity and mix-ready punch that made the original 6505 one of the most recorded and celebrated high-gain amps in metal history. Developed over two years in collaboration with Peavey this all-tube dual-channel module captures both the amps razor-sharp rhythm tones and its saturated singing leads. Each channel mirrors the character of the 6505s Rhythm and Lead channels with Crunch mode covering bluesy breakup through to hard-rock grit while Lead mode recreates the tight mid-forward distortion that became a benchmark in modern metal. With independent Gain and Volume controls per channel and a shared 3-band EQ the 6505 module offers instant access to everything from old-school punch to contemporary high-gain fury. The built-in Cathode Select switch tailors feel and bass response while Dual/Single mode ensures compatibility with both Synergy systems and older Egnater/Randall modular rigs. Loaded with two 12AX7 valves the module provides the fast attack focused low end and aggressive harmonic content players expect from a true 6505. Whether youre tracking gigging or building a modular metal rig this is the definitive way to bring the 6505 sound into the Synergy platform.
