The Tama Superstar classic features carefully selected maple shells offering a rich warm tonal character with brilliant mid and high frequencies. The maple shells are mounted using Tamas Star-Mount system ensuring that the wood allows for an impressive projection and optimum ring with a tone that isnt muffled or muted at all. The kit carries some of the classic features that the original Superstar series had such as the classic Tama T-shape badge and streamlined low-mass lugs that feature a simple design thats reminiscent of the 70s style.
