The Vandoren A45 Jumbo Java Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece Blue is suited to players performing rock salsa and other modern styles that demand strong projection and cutting tone. Designed with a small chamber very high baffle and large bore the A45 produces a bright aggressive sound with the edge and presence often associated with metal mouthpieces. Its 2.20 mm tip opening provides a responsive feel for expressive phrasing while the medium long facing offers a balanced blend of flexibility and control.Made from blue ebonite this mouthpiece combines a distinctive appearance with a comfortable familiar feel under the embouchure. The powerful design helps notes project clearly in amplified bands live ensembles and louder stage environments where extra presence is essential. Whether youre playing lead lines punchy horn sections or energetic solos the A45 delivers the focused response and modern tonal character the Jumbo Java series is known for.
