An extended 5A with reduced weight and diameter. The Vic Firth American Classic 3A Hickory Drumsticks. By extending the length of the drumsticks Vic Firth created the incredibly versatile 3A drumsticks - perfect for drummers who seek a pair wider than a 5A but thinner than a 5B with added length. But why choose Vic Firth 3A drumsticks? Designed from the perfect hickory - reliable durable and versatile. The wooden tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal responses and more precise drum tones. And made by Vic Firth you know youre getting your moneys worth. What about the sound? Perfect for light rock and fusion the American Classic 3A?s have a barrel tip which produces a bright articulate cymbal sound. The combination of a barrel tip and the short taper provides a perfect balance for aggressive playing providing a fat punchy sound.
