The main goal of the stick was to keep them out of the way during play leading to a wealth of features to make sure that happens. For starters a long taper gives a great balance that responds naturally on both drums and cymbals with a diameter between a 5A and 5B keeping this feel familiar and trusted. This stick has a natural surface coating keeping this familiar-feeling stick firmly in your hands during long playing sessions. A modified wooden barrel tip produces an articulate and well-rounded tone with it producing a noticeably darker tone on cymbals. With the classic length of 16 the NE1 Signature Stick by Mike Johnston is a stick crafted by a player for the player.
