Walrus Audio Ages Black Five-State Overdrive

Available from Gear4Music at 241,06 €.

The Walrus Audio Ages Black Five-State Overdrive is a hugely flexible drive pedal built to cover everything from bright edge-of-break-up tones to thick saturated punch. Its five-position rotary switch gives you distinct clipping styles and gain structures so you can move from smooth compressed low-gain sounds to more open aggressive voices without needing a second pedal. Add in the Dry control and Ages becomes even more adaptable letting you blend your clean signal back in for extra definition attack and note clarity. That makes it a brilliant choice for players who want one overdrive to handle multiple jobs on the board. It works brilliantly as a main gain sound a boost into a driven amp or a stacked partner alongside other pedals. Simple Treble Bass Gain Volume and Dry controls make it easy to shape the response to your guitar and amp while true bypass keeps your core tone intact when the pedal is off. Finished in black with striking elephant skull artwork Ages looks every bit as bold as it sounds. It also suits a wide range of pickups giving single coils extra body and helping humbuckers stay focused and articulate under higher gain settings.
