The Yamaha FB9022 22" x 16" Concert Floor Bass Drum is suited to orchestral percussionists needing a versatile low-end extension. Sitting between concert toms and traditional bass drums it offers a punchy focused tone with strong projection. The 16" deep birch shell produces rich low-frequency harmonics while maintaining clear definition helping every note carry through ensembles and concert halls.Yamahas Air Seal System ensures the shell is evenly formed for reliable durability and consistent resonance. The adjustable leg design allows you to position the drum at a comfortable height without the restrictions of traditional bass drum stands making it suitable for standing performance setups. A Yamaha REMO Powerstroke 3 coated top head controls unwanted overtones while the clear Ambassador bottom head supports a full musical response. Finished in Yamahas dark wood lacquer it visually matches the wider concert percussion lineup.
