Its one of the most recorded drum kits in history and its clear to see why. The Recording Custom features birch shells with a pristine interior and exterior finish. These shells deliver a sound that seems pre-EQd - perfect for studio and multi-mic drumming. Even when playing this kit with no amplification or microphones it will hold its own with a great level of power and tone to spare.
