The Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition George Harrison 1967 Bass VI is a painstaking recreation of the distinctive instrument Harrison used at Abbey Road Studios. Built in Corona California it pairs a two-piece alder body with a maple neck shaped to match Harrisons original. A bound 3A rosewood fingerboard 7.25" radius and 21 vintage frets deliver an authentically period-inspired playing surface while the 30" scale provides a feel that lends itself beautifully to melodic lines chord voicings and guitar-style phrasing. A bone nut and vintage-style appointments complete the specification. Three Custom Shop hand-wound flat magnet Jaguar pickups capture the distinctive harmonic range of the Bass VI delivering articulate highs growling mids and defined lows. Individual on/off switches let you combine the pickups freely while a dedicated two-position bass-cut strangle circuit adds further tonal flexibility. The switch plate even recreates the markings Harrison added to his original instrument to identify preferred settings. A six-saddle vintage-style adjustable bridge works alongside a floating tremolo tailpiece and Bass VI mute. A hard case and certificate of authenticity are included.
