This alloy offers exceptional durability and a dominating resonant tone. Also known as Feng or Sun Gongs the Wind Gongs have an almost flat shape allowing the vibration to spread out extremely wide and provide a long sustain. The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gong produces a low-pitched sound which opens up nicely with sizzling overtones when played more powerfully. Each gong includes a beater designed specifically to get the best sound out of the corresponding gong size.
