These sticks are manufactured using Vic Firth’s rigorous quality assurance processes, ensuring that each pair is weight-matched and pitch-paired. The use of American hickory provides a traditional feel with excellent vibration absorption and structural durability.

Technical Features

The stick features a unique length slightly exceeding 16 inches, which provides additional leverage and reach compared to standard 5A models. A critical element of the design is the long taper, which shifts the balance point toward the butt of the stick. This results in a fast response and a light 'throw,' allowing for rapid double-stroke rolls and intricate sticking patterns.
