Darkglass

Darkglass Electronics is a Finnish music-equipment brand focused on bass amplification and signal processing. Its range includes overdrive and distortion pedals, preamps, amplifier heads, combos and speaker cabinets, alongside accessories such as expression pedals, footswitches and cabinet covers.

The brand is particularly known for its bass overdrive and distortion designs, including the Microtubes and Alpha·Omega families. Products such as the Microtubes B7K combine drive with preamp functions, while the Microtubes X7 provides multiband bass distortion, equalisation and a DI output. These products reflect the brand’s emphasis on shaping bass tone through both effects and amplification.

At partner retailers tracked by MyGear, 38 Darkglass products are currently in stock, with prices ranging from £34 to £1,199. This spans lower-cost accessories through to substantial purchases such as amplifier heads, combos and cabinets, placing its core electronics and amplification largely in the specialist, mid-to-upper-priced bass-equipment market.
