Gon Bops

Gon Bops is an American percussion brand established in 1954, known for congas, bongos and other instruments associated with Afro-Cuban and Latin percussion. Its range also includes cajons, cowbells, tambourines, shakers, claves and maracas, covering both core percussion instruments and smaller additions to drum and percussion setups.

On MyGear, Gon Bops has 22 products currently in stock at partner retailers, with prices ranging from £21 to £699. These listings span the hand percussion and live microphones categories. The price range places the available selection across relatively inexpensive percussion accessories and higher-priced equipment, rather than within a single budget tier.

Products in the selection include the Alex Acuna Cha Cha Bell and Paila Bell, Timbero Bongo Bell, and Tumbao Cha Cha Bell and Rock Bell. Smaller instruments include the Red Tambourine with Steel Jingles, stainless-steel Rock Shaker Tube, White Wood Claves and Rawhide Poquito Maracas, reflecting the brand’s broad hand-percussion catalogue.
