Groove Tubes

Groove Tubes is an American brand known for replacement valves for guitar amplifiers and other valve-based audio equipment. Its range includes preamp valves such as ECC83/12AX7, 12AT7 and 12AY7 types, alongside output valves in the 6L6, 6V6, EL34 and EL84 families.

The brand is associated with valve testing, grading and matching, offering individual preamp valves and matched output-valve sets. Product names such as DUET and QUARTET identify two- and four-valve sets, while MED identifies a medium performance rating within its grading system.

The current MyGear selection comprises 10 products in stock at partner retailers, priced from £26 to £159. These place Groove Tubes in the replacement-component market rather than the complete-amplifier category, with options ranging from single preamp valves to matched output-valve quartets.
