Initial Audio

Initial Audio is a music-software brand offering virtual instruments and audio-effect plug-ins for production in digital audio workstations. Its range includes Heatup3, a sample-based instrument, and 808 Studio 2, a bass synthesiser focused on 808-style sounds. These sit alongside effects for processing, shaping and transforming audio.

The effects catalogue includes Dynamic Delay, Dynamic EQ, the IA-LA1 compressor and Analog Pro, alongside creative tools such as Slowmo and Reverse. The combination of instruments and effects gives the brand a focus on both sound creation and mixing, with products aimed at producers assembling software-based production setups.

MyGear currently lists 13 Initial Audio products in stock at partner retailers, priced from £41 to £167. This places the listed selection in the lower-to-mid-priced software market, spanning individual processing tools and more substantial virtual instruments rather than hardware equipment.
