Osram makes lighting products, including halogen and discharge lamps for stage, entertainment and projection equipment.

Het verhaal

Osram is a German lighting brand known for lamps and lighting technology across general and specialist applications. Its relevance to music and live-event equipment lies in light sources for stage fixtures and entertainment lighting, rather than instruments or audio equipment.

The range listed on MyGear includes halogen replacement lamps with bases such as GX5.3, G6.35 and GY9.5, alongside SIRIUS HRI discharge lamps. Osram’s SIRIUS HRI family is associated with entertainment lighting, including moving-head fixtures. These products are specified by characteristics such as wattage, voltage, base type and colour temperature, making compatibility with the intended fixture important.

MyGear currently lists 14 Osram products in stock at partner retailers, priced from €8 to €305. This selection spans inexpensive replacement lamps through to higher-priced specialist discharge light sources, positioning the brand here primarily as a supplier of lighting components and consumables rather than complete fixtures.
