The Ahead S-Hoop Chaves Tenor Pad 4/5/6 Combination w/Grey Gum is a highly effective practice pad that allows you to explore your technique and playing style with low volume. With grey practice pads in a 4/5/6 combination the pads offer a great feel and response. With the blue powder-coated steel S-Hoops this practice pad wont crack from repeated use. This material is ideal for rimshots and cross-stickings producing a prominent tone that still maintains the low volume you need.Non-slip grips on the bottom are soft rubber keeping it in place during practice. If you prefer sitting down there are dedicated gripping points that allow a snare stand to be used as a mount. When playing sound chambers beneath each pad produces additional tone to differentiate the pads and give you a great response when playing.
