The Denis Wick Heritage Tenor Trombone Mouthpiece Large Shank Silver Plate 4.5AL is ideal for trombone players looking for clarity and precision in demanding settings such as orchestras brass bands or solo work. Designed with the same internal dimensions as the Classic series this version adjusts the placement of mass to change how it responds when played. With added weight near the throat and cup base—like Denis Wicks HeavyTop models—the sound becomes more focused. The upper walls and rim are made lighter to balance this out helping players articulate more cleanly in higher ranges. The 4.5AL size suits those looking for larger cup volume with a rounded flexible tone.
