The DPA CORE+ 4099 Instrument Microphone Universal is a versatile microphone setup for musicians and engineers who need a high-quality mic that adapts to different instruments. It comes fitted with a Universal Clip (U-Clip) which attaches easily to a wide range of acoustic instruments including brass woodwinds strings and percussion. The mic stays secure without marking the instrument and offers flexible positioning through its locking gooseneck. Thanks to CORE+ technology the mic delivers natural tone with very low distortion even at high sound pressure levels. From gentle detail to louder dynamics the signal stays clean and open. Its supercardioid pattern focuses on the instrument helping to reduce bleed and background noise in both stage and studio environments. Please Note: the DAD9099 and DAD9001 XLR adapters are sold separately. These are needed if you want to connect the microphone directly to an XLR input such as a mixer or audio interface.
