DPA CORE+ 4099 Instrument Microphone Violin

Available from Gear4Music at € 625,59.

The DPA CORE+ 4099 Instrument Microphone Violin is designed for performers and engineers who need precise low-profile sound capture on stage or in the studio. This model comes fitted with the VC4099 clip purpose-built to mount securely on a violin or mandolin without marking or obstructing the instrument. It delivers natural undistorted sound even at very high volumes making it a reliable choice for everything from quiet classical sessions to amplified live sets. At the heart of the microphone is DPA?s CORE+ technology which eliminates harmonic distortion across the dynamic range. You?ll hear clean transients and consistent detail at both low and high sound pressure levels. This is especially useful for violinists where subtle bow work and dynamic playing need to come through clearly without compression or artefacts. The microphone?s frequency curve and off-axis rejection are tuned to keep your sound isolated even in louder setups. Mounting and positioning are made easier with the upgraded Gooseneck Mount. It locks firmly in place with a two-step mechanism and includes a dual-material base that reduces vibration noise from the instrument. A low-reflection matte finish and discreet MicroLock connector keep the setup tidy and professional while also standing up to the rigours of regular use. This setup keeps your sound focused and your workflow simple. Please note: One XLR adapter (either DAD9099 or DAD9001) is included for each microphone. This allows you to connect the microphone directly to an XLR input such as a mixer or audio interface.
