The DW Drums Performance 14" x 8" Snare Drum combines DWs latest technological advances with world-class build quality. This drums warm maple shell is constructed using DWs Hybrid HVX method overlapping the grain orientation for a snare that really sings. It kicks out a bold full-bodied tone thats easily fine-tuned for both live and studio work thanks to DWs specialist True Pitch tuning rod system. Innovation at every turn. When engaging or disengaging the snare wires the high-quality DW MAG throw-off uses an internal magnet to speed up transitions with zero strainer buzz and to firmly hold its desired position. With industry-standard factory-fitted Remo heads this responsive snare captures all the subtle nuances of any playing style right out of the box. Plus with a hand-sprayed specialty lacquer finish the DW Performance Snare looks as good as it sounds.
