The Evans Onyx Fusion Tom Pack 10 12 14 is for drummers looking for punch and articulation. The Onyx drum head is a two-ply head featuring 7.5mil films that gives extended durability and natural muffling. The frost coating that appears matte black increases low-end response and attack accentuating the resonance of the shell and cutting through mixes. With Evans Level 360 Technology you can play on all parts of the head creating new timbral choices previously unavailable. The vertically enhanced collar design guarantees even contact with the shells bearing edge maximising resonance through the head and to the shell to produce a rounded full-bodied tone.
