The GEWA Massaranduba Double Bass Bow is an elegant piece of German craftmanship perfect for students and performers alike. Hewn from beautiful massaranduba wood this bow features a traditional ebony frog - which offers increased durability and strength - finished with a Parisian eye for a time-honoured aesthetic. The darker rich tone produced by this kind of massaranduba bow is popular with both professional and student players meaning this is a bow which will continue to impress and satisfy you for years to come. For a high-quality sounding bow there is no alternative to natural horsehair. This traditional material interacts with your instrument to produce an inimitable classic tone. The hair is combined gorgeously in this piece with the expertly crafted octagonal massaranduba stick all tied off with imitation whalebone winding for a truly timeless look. This exceptional quality 1/2-size German-style bow offers fantastic balance rich tones and vintage styling.
