The Gibson Custom 1954 Les Paul Reissue VOS is a faithful recreation of one of the earliest and most characterful Les Paul designs. Built by the Gibson Custom Shop it captures the look feel and unmistakable tone of the original Goldtop models complete with a solid mahogany body plain maple top and period-correct construction. The result is a resonant lively instrument with a direct expressive voice that stands out from later humbucker-equipped Les Pauls. Equipped with Custom Soapbar P-90 pickups it delivers a raw articulate tone that moves from warm cleans to gritty dynamic overdrive with ease. The wraparound bridge design enhances resonance and gives the guitar its distinctive attack and sustain while the 50s Rounded Medium C neck profile offers a substantial yet comfortable playing feel.
