The Gibson Custom Shop 1964 SG Standard Reissue with Maestro Vibrola is a faithful recreation of one of the most iconic rock guitars ever made. Built with solid mahogany for both body and neck it captures the resonance sustain and midrange punch that defined the original SG design. The slim double-cutaway body keeps things light and comfortable while the long tenon neck joint and authentic nitrocellulose VOS finish give it both strength and a played-in vintage character. From the moment you pick it up the guitar feels alive and ready to deliver everything from smooth blues to biting rock riffs. Fitted with Custombucker Alnico III pickups this SG offers a wide tonal palette that ranges from warm articulate cleans to growling overdrive with clarity and definition.
