The Hagstrom Ultra Max is an unbeatable combination of modern versatility and classic construction. Equipped is a duo of pickups which are specially wound Custom 60 AlNiCo-5 humbuckers. These come with independent volume pots and a standard R/C circuit on each potentiometer ensuring great tonal control. Also included is a master tone control and dual coil split settings for switching between hot humbucking and sparkling single-coil sounds at the flick of a switch. Featuring a custom carved flame maple top and mahogany body the Ultra Max packs a powerful punch that can easily be tailored to any style or genre. The set neck is complemented by an ultra-slim D shape for maximum comfort and playability while the resinator fingerboard with pearl block inlays provides a smooth playing experience. For added stability the patented H-Expander truss rod allows for low action and thin neck resulting in longer sustain and a round attack. Everything you need to excel in your performance.
