Ibanez SR506A Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss

Available from Gear4Music at € 781,99.

The Ibanez SR506A is a modern six-string bass designed for players who want extended range without losing the fast comfortable feel the SR series is known for. Built to handle everything from complex chordal work and tapping to deep supportive low-end playing it offers a smooth approachable playing experience that stays comfortable right across its wider fretboard. Despite its extended range it retains the familiar balance slim neck feel and lightweight character that have made SR basses a long-standing favourite. A 5-piece roasted maple and walnut neck improves stability and helps resist movement caused by temperature or humidity changes while the rosewood fretboard provides a smooth feel with a focused midrange response. The okoume body keeps the instrument lightweight and balanced even with six strings. Bartolini BH2 pickups are paired with a versatile 3-band EQ delivering controlled lows clear mids and articulate highs. Finished in Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss the SR506A is a dependable six-string bass built for modern performance.
