Jazz Sessions for Saxophone

Available from Gear4Music at € 13,52.

Stun with an assorted repertoire of jazz tunes. Jazz Sessions for Saxophone is a refined collection of classic jazz arrangements such as "Fly Me To The Moon" "Stompin at the Savoy" and "C Jam Blues" to make people swoon. Acoustic backing tracks complete the performance. Get your audience swaying away with these smooth nostalgic tunes. Feel like a jazz pro for your exams. These pieces are great to play just for fun but also offer a broad foundation to prepare students for ABRSM Grade 4-5 jazz exams as they span a range of jazz styles. Longer versions on the CD also allow improvisation practice. Stop feeling blue and get confident with blues rhythms instead! Jazz Sessions Saxophone is an exciting collaboration between two accomplished musicians and composers. Alexander LEstrange and Tom Pilling have extensive jazz experience and have tailored these books to intermediate players of a variety of instruments.
