The JHS Pedals 3 Series Bit Crusher is a compact effects pedal designed to break down your signal with precision while staying easy to use. Built in Kansas City using high-quality components it follows the simple 3 Series format but delivers a wide range of lo-fi textures. The Crush control reduces bit depth from full-resolution clarity down to gritty broken distortion while the Sample Rate knob introduces aliasing and digital artefacts that reshape your tone from subtle shifts to aggressive glitch-like collapse. The Filter control lets you shape the result smoothing harsh edges or focusing the effect into a tighter more controlled voice. A two-way toggle expands its range further switching between a warm low-pass response and a more focused midrange band that mimics small-speaker tones. Whether you want light digital character under a clean part or full-on degradation for experimental sounds it integrates easily into any setup. Standard 9V DC power and a compact enclosure keep it practical for everyday use on modern pedalboards.
