JodyJazz DV JC Custom Metal Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece 7 is designed for tenor saxophonists who need flexibility across a wide range of musical settings from small-group jazz to louder ensemble work. Based on Jody Espinas own customised DV mouthpiece design it balances power and projection with a rounded controlled tone that doesn?t feel overly bright or aggressive. Its metal construction supports a free-blowing response making it easier to shape phrases and move between dynamics without fighting resistance. At the same time the internal design helps retain warmth and body through the middle and lower registers which is especially useful for ballads and more lyrical playing. Supplied with a ligature and cap the DV JC Jody custom Tenor model is a practical option if you want a responsive metal mouthpiece that stays versatile across different styles and playing situations.
