The Jupiter JCR700RQ Cornet is an excellent choice for students and brass band players. Featuring a rose-brass leadpipe and bell this instrument has a wonderfully warm and mellow sound. Using rose brass in the leadpipe also prevents corrosion from dirt and saliva - keeping your cornet playing well for longer. The dual-lapped valves are hand-fitted for a smooth quiet and effortless playing experience. Its lacquered brass body has been precisely crafted using cutting-edge technology to ensure accurate intonation and fantastic playability. This instrument features a medium-large 0.460" bore producing a focused tone with a touch of brightness. Its 4.7" bell is slightly larger than average producing a louder sound with less breath - perfect for beginners soloists and ensemble players. The JCR700RQ also comes with a mouthpiece so you can start playing right away. Additionally it includes a lightweight backpack-style soft case to keep your cornet safe when travelling to gigs or rehearsals.
