The Martin D-X2E Molly Tuttle offers Mollys signature feel tone and personality in an accessible road-ready acoustic. Inspired by her 1943 D-18 this model debuts a comfortable 1940s-style 1 11/16" nut width in the X Series giving players a fast vintage-referenced neck shape that feels instantly familiar. A solid spruce top paired with scalloped X-bracing delivers a lively articulate response with plenty of clarity for flatpicking strumming and detailed fingerstyle work. Finished in a vintage sunburst and fitted with custom tuner buttons the guitar captures Mollys artistic flair without sacrificing everyday practicality. Figured mahogany HPL back and sides offer excellent stability and durability making the D-X2E Molly Tuttle a great choice for touring players students and anyone after a reliable instrument that feels and sounds inspiring. Ebony is used for both the fingerboard and bridge while moon-phase inlays add a personal aesthetic touch. With Martin E1 electronics a softshell case and classic faux tortoise pickguard this special edition brings Mollys style together with musician-focused features designed for modern performance.
