Available from Gear4Music at € 781,99.

The Meinl Byzance 22 Big Apple Dark Tradition Light Ride encapsulates the history tradition and sound of the legendary New York City jazz scene hence the Big Apple name. Meeting the requirements of old school jazz the Big Apple has an expressive voice with heaps of earthy distinct character. The hand hammered small bell coupled with its large size give this ride a dark but tonally rich sound. The unlathed top provides a short sustain making the stick definition always present. The fully lathed bottom allows the cymbal to open up for effortlessly delicious crashes complimenting the warm undertones and completing its full-bodied sound. Although designed with traditional jazz in mind this cymbal is a solid choice for modern versatility perfect for the modern drummer looking for that classic sound.
