The Meinl Sonic Energy 16" Octave Steel Tongue Drum F# Minor is ideal for relaxed home practice guided meditation sessions and anyone exploring calming melodic percussion. You get a central bass note surrounded by eight dual-reed tongues giving you two octaves of each pitch. This setup helps you create gentle drones simple melodic patterns or fuller harmonies without needing advanced technique. And because the sound sits close to a handpans character you can settle into soothing textures straight away. The underside sound hole includes a silicon plug letting you choose between an open airy tone or a more compact voice. Three silicone feet keep the drum steady on a table or your lap something youll really appreciate when switching between hand and mallet playing. A pair of rubber-headed wooden mallets and a padded nylon bag round things out so its easy to store and carry.
