Paiste 16" PSTX Swiss Flanger Crash

Available from Gear4Music at € 146,99.

The Paiste 16" PSTX Swiss Flanger Crash is suited to drummers and percussionists needing quick distinctive accents. Its Swiss-flanged design creates an unusual crash character with a warm fluttering response and a slightly metallic edge. The lightweight build keeps the feel soft under the stick while delivering an immediate reaction to even lighter playing. A complex blend of frequencies gives this cymbal a textured exotic voice that stands out without overwhelming a mix. The short sustain helps notes fade quickly making it useful when you need precise punctuation rather than long lingering crashes. Its washy stick sound and integrated bell character contribute to a cohesive expressive response across the cymbal surface. And because it responds so easily its also well-suited to hand percussion techniques offering plenty of creative possibilities in a wide range of musical settings.
