Paiste 18" PSTX Swiss Flanger Crash

Available from Gear4Music at € 182,27.

The Paiste 18" PSTX Swiss Flanger Crash is suited to drummers who need fast attention-grabbing accents with a distinctive character. Its Swiss-flanged design creates an unusual crash response producing an explosive attack followed by a quick fade. This makes it particularly useful when you want sharp punctuation in grooves fills and dynamic arrangements without overwhelming the rest of the mix. With a light weight and soft feel the cymbal responds easily to even subtle playing. The sound combines warm tones with a slightly metallic flutter creating a complex voice that stands apart from traditional crashes. Its medium frequency range helps it sit comfortably alongside a wide variety of cymbal setups while the short sustain keeps performances clear and controlled. And because of its responsive design its also well-suited to hand percussion techniques giving you even more ways to introduce unique textures into your playing.
