Paiste 18" PSTX Swiss Flanger Stack

Available from Gear4Music at € 363,36.

The Paiste 18" PSTX Swiss Flanger Stack is suited to drummers who want quick trashy effects and flexible stacked-cymbal sounds. Its lightweight construction and soft feel make it highly responsive reacting easily to changes in playing dynamics. By adjusting how tightly the two cymbals are stacked together you can move between dry cutting hi-hat-style sounds and explosive noisy crash effects.Tonally it produces an earthy warm and dry character with a complex mix of frequencies and a fairly narrow range. The short sustain helps effects stay controlled and clear within a busy setup while the washy stick response adds texture to grooves accents and transitions. An integrated bell character keeps the overall sound cohesive making this stack a useful option when you need distinctive sounds that sit comfortably alongside the rest of your cymbals.
