Premier Artist 14" x 5.5" Aluminium Snare Drum

Available from Gear4Music at € 117,58.

The Premier 14" x 5.5" Artist Aluminium Snare Drum provides a balanced versatile sound with strong projection crisp articulation and a sharp responsive crack suitable for a wide range of musical styles. Its midrange pitch and tuning flexibility make it adaptable while the shallower depth maintains clarity and punch without sacrificing resonance. The aluminium shell adds a bright dry tone with a clear high end focused mids and quick decay that reduces the need for damping. This distinctive vintage-style "crack" makes aluminium snares ideal for drummers seeking both articulation and character. This snare features a 24-strand snare wire that provides a crisp snappy attack with enhanced snare buzz due to increasing contact with the bottom head resulting in a brighter more pronounced snare sound. 1.5mm triple-flange drum hoops offer a more open and resonant sound that gives the drum a more natural expressive sound.
