The Premier Artist 14" x 6.5" Aluminium Snare Drum Brushed Aluminium is a versatile snare for powerful projection crisp attack and punchy response. Its 1.2mm aluminium shell produces a focused dry mid-range tone with minimal overtones giving you the clarity needed to cut through a mix in both live and studio settings. At 6.5" deep the shell adds body and low-end presence while delivering a full-bodied fundamental pitch and powerful rimshot. You can also tighten the snare for a more focused sound without losing that body. Hand-selected 42-strand steel snare wires balance articulation sensitivity and shell resonance while 1.5mm triple-flange hoops provide a more open resonant response. Its a flexible setup for rock pop punk funk indie metal and more.
