Protec VL226 Vegan Leather Trumpet Valve Guard Cocoa

Available from Gear4Music at € 21,17.

The Protec Trumpet Valve Guard is a leather grip for your Bb or C trumpet. Protecting the finish of your horn is very important as the oils and acids in your hands can be corrosive to it. Having a secure grip is also vital. This is where products like the Protec Valve Guard fit in. The grip is designed to fit around the valves of your trumpet where most of the skin contact happens between you and your horn. You will be saved expensive trips to your local brass shop for repairs to the finish with this valve guard. The grip is made of leather and has an embedded nonporous lining which prevents moisture oils and acid from penetrating through. The leather makes this very comfortable and increases the comfort you will experience when playing long sessions. The non-abrasive plush backside further protects the instruments finish being scratched or damaged. The grip is very simple to install with just a hook and loop fastening closure.
