Realist Copperhead Double Bass Pickup

Available from Gear4Music at € 234,01.

The Realist Copperhead Double Bass Transducer is a high-quality and simple way to connect your upright bass to any electronic music equipment you need. The Realist is easy to install no major modifications are needed. The copper sensor is simply placed underneath the bridge of your bass. The jack unit is then attached onto the tailpiece of your instrument. This is clipped under the string ends. The Realist Copperhead provides beautifully clear and transparent sounds. The output of this is almost identical to the sound that the double bass acoustically produces. The exceptional dynamic response means that your playing style is fully communicated with all nuances intact. This also means that no adjustments in gain are necessary when switching between pizzicato and arco. An issue often faced with amplified string instruments.
