Roland PDQ-8S Quiet Design Snare Pad

Available from Gear4Music at € 410,40.

The Roland PDQ-8S Quiet Design Snare Pad is ideal for drummers who need to keep noise to a minimum at home without losing that authentic playing feel. Designed as part of the V-Drums Quiet Design series it delivers up to 75 percent less noise compared with standard pads. That means you can play naturally without disturbing those around you. Inside a honeycomb rubber insert absorbs vibrations while a vented design underneath lets air escape smoothly both working together to keep each strike quiet. The mesh head feels responsive under the sticks so you still get that familiar rebound when practising rudiments or grooves. Plus a soft rubber rim covering keeps rimshots equally quiet helping you refine your technique in peace. Its compatible with a wide range of V-Drums modules including the TD-07 TD-17 and TD-50X so itll slot seamlessly into your current kit.
