Sabian AA 21" MantaRAY Chinese Cymbal

Available from Gear4Music at € 611,48.

The Sabian AA 21" MantaRAY Chinese Cymbal is built for drummers wanting bold controlled accents with plenty of projection. Developed alongside Ray Luzier its distinctive asymmetric shape gives you the explosive attack of a China cymbal with a lower pitch and fast decay. That means sharp trashy accents can cut through a busy mix without leaving excessive wash behind. Its medium weight and loud output provide enough presence for live playing while the articulate feel keeps each strike defined. The bright B20 tone also helps the MantaRAY sit clearly alongside the rest of your cymbal setup. And with its quick sustain you can use it for forceful punctuation short rhythmic effects and dramatic transitions without overpowering what comes next. Its equally suited to live and studio setups where you need impact with control.
