The sE Electronics WS12 VR Series Windshield is for users needing safe wind protection for ribbon microphones. Designed specifically for the sE VR1 and VR2 it helps control wind breath noise and sudden air movement that can affect recordings or damage sensitive ribbon elements. Ribbon microphones react strongly to airflow even in controlled environments. The WS12 adds a simple layer of protection reducing unwanted air pressure while maintaining the natural balance and detail ribbons are known for. And thats especially important when working outdoors or close to the source. Made from acoustically transparent foam the WS12 installs quickly and removes just as easily. Its a practical accessory for studio vocals acoustic instruments room miking and any situation where controlled airflow helps keep recordings consistent.
