Sela 20" Chau Gong Yin & Yang

Available from Gear4Music at € 352,66.

The Sela 20" Chau Gong Yin & Yang is a handmade bronze gong for meditation sound therapy and musical performance. Crafted from a special bronze alloy it produces deep fundamental tones with a broad overtone spectrum and long-lasting resonance. It responds clearly to different striking techniques and dynamics giving you plenty of control whether youre creating gentle soundscapes or more expressive textures. The polished Yin & Yang design combines contrasting light and dark finishes with finely textured circular patterns that radiate from the centre. These surface variations influence the gongs response and overtone distribution while creating a striking visual centrepiece. A maple-handled mallet with a velvet-covered head is included for balanced controlled playing while the supplied black carrying bag makes transporting and storing the 20-inch gong simple between sessions performances or workshops.
