Sela Ion for Iconic Cajon Kenyan

Available from Gear4Music at € 88,19.

The Sela Ion for Iconic Cajon Kenyan is ideal for players who want a deeper rounder voice to sit alongside their main cajon sound. Inspired by the traditional Mshondo drum it uses untreated goatskin to create a lower-frequency character that contrasts nicely with brighter ions. Youll find it adds a satisfying counterpoint when layering rhythms or exploring new textures in your setup. Its birch construction keeps the feel familiar and secure while the adjustable tension lets you shape the response to suit your playing. A quarter-turn on each screw goes a long way so you can quickly experiment until the tone sits exactly where you want it. Installation stays straightforward too loosen the eight screws on your Iconic Cajon with the included Allen key slot the ion in then tighten everything back up. Just make sure it isnt left too loose.
