The Sire Marcus Miller Z7 Bass 3 Tone Sunburst is a versatile four-string for players wanting flexible active tones and comfortable playability. Its Premium J+MM pickup set combines an Alnico MM-style humbucker with a split Jazz pickup giving you plenty of scope for shaping vintage-inspired bass sounds while helping reduce hum from the Jazz pickup. For further control the Marcus Heritage-3 active preamp puts volume/tone pickup blend treble bass middle and mid-frequency adjustment at your fingertips. The Edgeless hard maple fingerboard uses rolled edges for a smoother feel while 22 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets support consistent playing across the 34-inch scale. And with its contoured alder Z-Bass body you get a distinctive shape designed around both classic and modern bass preferences.
