The Thomastik Peter Infeld Orchestra Double Bass A String 3/4 is suited to players who want a confident mid-strong response that works across both arco and pizzicato styles. Its centred tonal core helps you keep your sound clear and consistent which is especially handy when youre shaping long bowed lines or moving between dynamic changes. The chrome-wound spiral rope design also keeps the feel flexible without sacrificing projection or sustain. The PI63 A string is usable from 103 cm up to 110 cm making it a dependable match for most 3/4 bass setups. Its build is designed to be extremely reliable so that you can focus on your playing rather than the string beneath your fingers. Whether youre in an orchestral section or playing jazz lines it offers a balanced controllable character that adapts well to both.
