The Thomastik Peter Infeld Orchestra Double Bass C String 3/4 is suited to players who want a dependable low extension with clarity and depth. It keeps a centred tonal core across the register giving you a stable foundation for section work while staying manageable when you switch between dynamic contrasts or articulation styles. Its spiral rope core and chrome winding help maintain a balanced feel under the fingers supporting smooth bow response and a sustained grounded tone. With a tension of 32.8 kg the Thomastik Peter Infield Orchestral double bass C string offers a reassuring firmness that helps the low register speak clearly without feeling overly stiff. If you need a C string that supports orchestral projection while remaining easy to control this one delivers a well-balanced reliable option.
